It’s been an exciting couple of days here in
Titusville – we got our propane heater going and now have a working “fireplace”
in the boat. We also now have new taps in the galley and head. The performance
of “Mama Mia” yesterday was better than the one I saw in Toronto, and the
actors stayed onstage after for pictures, etc. And it warmed up enough today
that we didn’t have to wear coats and toques J. I’ve
included a few pics below of Sea Change after our clean-up – to compare with
the “before” pics during the first few days here.
But best of all – we just witnessed a live
rocket launch from Kennedy Space Centre, Cape Canaveral – our first ever! We
stood in the boat yard and watched the huge glow of the launch, heard the
“boom”, and followed the rocket as it headed into space, separated, and then we
watched the first stage return to earth. WOW … it seems surreal. Then we viewed
a video on our phone of the whole thing, which began at 8 pm and ended by 8:08
– amazing. Pics below …
