Then, Jeff opted out, but I visited the Holocaust
Museum, for two hours of pretty heavy immersion – well-done, though, with lots
of important information.
Best of all, when we arrived back at the
hotel, I had a phone message that we have a place to stay on Sanibel Island for
five days – a shared house with a lovely woman and her dog. Wonder of wonders –
our connection at the zoo came through!
Today we attended a hot glass-blowing
demonstration and had a great (if cool) walk on St. Pete’s beach. Tomorrow,
it’s off to Sarasota to have lunch with our old friends, Ingrid and Chuck. So
far so good - we’ll be on Sanibel by Sunday J. Pics
